The Story Behind Truly Magnetic

Sometimes life’s greatest purpose is born from its deepest pain.

After losing my brother, Lee, my world changed forever. The grief was overwhelming, and I struggled to find a way to move forward. Looking for an outlet, I began journaling. What started as private thoughts written through tears slowly became song lyrics. With every page I filled and every song I wrote, I found another step toward healing. Writing became my therapy, my hope, and my reminder that even in the darkest moments, light can still be found.

As I reflected on Lee’s life, I realized what made him so unforgettable. It wasn’t just his love for sports—it was the way he loved people. He believed in teamwork, perseverance, kindness, and lifting others up. He had an incredible gift for making everyone feel welcome, valued, and important. Whether he was encouraging a teammate, helping a stranger, or simply sharing a smile, his spirit and his smile were TRULY MAGNETIC.

That realization inspired something much bigger than a clothing brand.

TRULY MAGNETIC was created to carry his legacy forward. It represents strength through adversity, hope after loss, and the belief that every person has the ability to make a positive difference in someone else’s life. We exist to inspire athletes to chase their dreams, encourage young people to believe in themselves, honor our veterans and first responders for their selfless service, and support communities through acts of kindness and giving back.

Every song I write, every piece of apparel we create, and every person we encourage is part of a mission that began with one life lived with compassion and purpose. What started as grief became music. Music became healing. Healing became a mission. That mission became TRULY MAGNETIC.

Our logo is more than a symbol. It is a reminder that true strength is found in character, true success is measured by the lives we impact, and the greatest legacy we leave behind is the love we share with others.

My hope is that when someone wears TRULY MAGNETIC, they don’t just wear a brand—they carry a message. A message that reminds them to lead with kindness, persevere through adversity, and become a positive force in the lives of others.
